SXSW - or "South by Southwest" - meets every March in Austin, bringing together thousands of music, movie, and technology professionals, reporters, and fans.
This year, SXSW is considering putting up a panel about marijuana policy reform in Texas. The panel would feature Democrat Joe Moody (D-El Paso), who authored the civil penalties bill last year, as well as Zoe Russell with Republicans Against Marijuana Prohibition (RAMP) and me.
We've already submitted the panel for consideration, but we need your help getting it votes to help it get chosen.
Here's what you need to do to help:
- Create a SXSW account. All you need is an email.
- They'll immediately email you with a confirmation link. Click it!
- Officially login with your new account.
- Open up this SXSW page for the "Turn Texas Green" panel and click the "thumbs up" in the top left hand corner to vote for the panel!
Voting ends this weekend, so please vote by Friday and help us get our marijuana panel picked!
