Houston has a really important mayoral and city council election coming up this Saturday, December 12th. While the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance (HERO) won’t be on the ballot, the future of Houston — as a city that welcomes diversity, promotes equality, and protects its own from discrimination — is at stake.

The political operatives behind the campaign to repeal HERO — deceptively dubbed “The Campaign for Houston” — want to push Houston even futher away from the path toward progress.

According to a video produced by Houston Truth, a group that is exposing the truth behind the campaign that repealed HERO last month: “The Campaign for Houston is built on lies and run by liars. Their leadership protects sexual predators and now they want you to vote for their slate of candidates.”
